I let the sunset glow wash me out as I sat at my favorite place—listening to whisps of cool breezes, lapping lake water, faint squawks of gulls circling beyond—thinking, what comes next. As I was getting up, I noticed the words above the chapel behind me, “Per via ad vitam.” Through the way to life.
