Gerald Farinas is a social services professional and community activist in Chicago, living in the Lake View East neighborhood and its Boystown gay village.
Gerry announced his intention to run for the Chicago City Council and challenge the incumbent Alderman of the 46th Ward. If elected, he will be the first Asian American member of the Chicago City Council and second LGBT voice.
